Threads… Formerly the Sophisticated Starlet was a Cute Little Shop

Threads is no longer open but it lives on in our minds and is missed.
Threads, formerly the Sophisticated Starlet first opened on Broad St in downtown Kingsport, moved out to Reedy Creek and finally spent its last months in Johnson City.

Threads, formerly the Sophisticated Starlet moved to its last place  in Johnson City on 1111 Broyles Rd, Suite 3 .The shop moved there and reopened on December 23, 2014. Threads officially closed for good,  May 31, 2015. Located at 1880 Eastman Rd in the Reedy Creek Shopping Center… it was a favorite place to shop. Where else could you get clothing and accessories at such good deals? I originally found about this shop on Kingsport Deals awhile back.

Purses, Jewelry, Scarves and Shoes Were Found at Threads

Purses, shoes, scarves and jewelry were but a few of the specialties here. They carried semi-precious stone handcrafted necklaces and earrings in the shop. The lacy scarves looked elegant and chic. Brightly colored purses on display caught your eye too.

Threads always carried some of the coolest merchandise.
Jodi Strycharz could be found behind the counter of her shop.

Jodi Strycharz Behind the Counter at Her Shop

You found the owner, Jodi Strycharz behind the counter or arranging her goods like art on display in a gallery. It was a treat to shop here in this one-of-a-kind store. I loved checking out what was new. The good deals, like the shop, are now gone.

The shop carried scarves, shoes, handbags and other cool accessories. The shop also shipped their merchandise via UPS to anywhere in the Continental US. Thread’s staff were Victoria Luther, Joanna McNutt Strycharz and Taylor Agner. This shop was definitely worth checking out.

The shop opened Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 6:00 pm and on Saturdays from 10:30 am to 6 pm. Their cute wrap belts were $15 and corsage bracelets were $18.75. Threads also carried  urban fashion clothing for the guys and the gals.

More Bling at the Shop Known Formerly as Threads

They also stocked Bling handbags for $37.50and the cutest flowery cell phone pouches  for $14. They had an assorted variety of necklaces, bracelets and belts. They also had a sleek Bedford skirt pictured on their Facebook page. Jodi stocked shoes galore, along with jackets and jeans.

This was one of the coolest shops  in Kingsport and Johnson City. The prices are great too.  We miss you Joanna, Jodi, Victoria and Taylor.
